College Dorm Party

College Dorm Party is a 1989 Indian Malayalam film, directed by Joshiy and produced by Babu Thiruvalla. The film stars Mukesh, Sukumaran, Jagathy Sreekumar and Innocent in lead roles. The film had musical score by G. Devarajan.[1][2] The film was remade in Telugu as Amma Kosam with Chiranjeevi and Meena Durairaj. A group of friends celebrate the occasion of a friend’s birthday and reach his house. They are surprised to see that he has got married to a girl named Geetha who is said to be his cousin. After some initial resistance, they finally agree to stay there for the night and celebrate their friend’s birthday. But what happens next forms the plot of this interesting movie.[3][4]

college dorm party

A college dorm party is a party held in the residence hall of a university or college. The term is commonly used in North America, while “digs” is often used in British English. In some cases, dorm parties may be held by students who live off-campus, but who still consider themselves to be part of the university community. The typical dorm party involves alcohol (sometimes excessive amounts), loud music, and activity.

Dormitory parties are an important aspect of college life at many universities.[1] They provide an outlet for social interaction and entertainment for students who are living away from home for the first time.[2] Dormitory parties are also considered part of the college experience by many students.[3]

Dormitory parties can be controversial because they often involve alcohol consumption by minors.[4] Some colleges have banned dormitory parties entirely,[5][6][7][8][9] while others allow them only under certain conditions (such as limiting attendance to residents).[10]

This is a story about how I got to my first college dorm party. Now, I’m not going to lie, I was nervous as hell. I’ve never been to one; I don’t know anyone who’s ever been to one. But when you’re in your last year of high school and your last year of freedom before you’re officially an adult, you’ve gotta make this count.

So I decided to go for it. My friend told me it would be fun, so why not?

I got there around 10:30 p.m., and it was pretty much what I expected — a bunch of college kids drinking beer, talking loudly and playing beer pong in the kitchen while their roommate or whoever was in charge blasted music from the living room. The place was messy; there were dirty dishes everywhere and people were walking around barefoot or wearing flip flops on hardwood floors.

I also noticed that everyone here seemed to know each other except for me — it was like being at homecoming all over again! But this time, instead of being surrounded by people who didn’t care about me (ahem), these were people who were actually nice and friendly! They welcomed me with open arms into their world.
